Founded by Mark & Ronda Richard, Advanced Septic Services has served as Perry County’s only full-service septic company since 1995 providing services to all of Perry, Cumberland and Juniata Counties as well as portions of Dauphin & York counties.
As a family-owned business, we understand the importance of old fashioned prompt, reliable and friendly service. We take great pride in the quality of our services and equipment, and take the time to ensure that we solve your problems in the best, and most affordable, manner.

We are a people company that provides septic system and portable restroom rental services. We prioritize prompt and reliable service in all aspects of our company, and treat our customers and employees as family.

From our headquarters in Landisburg, PA, we serve construction companies, event planners, and individuals throughout Perry, Cumberland, Juniata and portions of Dauphin and York counties.
HISTORY
1995 . THE BEGINNING
Advanced Septic Services, Inc. was founded when Mark & Ronda purchased a septic truck from a family friend.
1996 . PORTABLE RESTROOMS
After success in residential septic tank cleanings, we expanded into the portable restroom sector. Our first client was our local school district, West Perry High School.
1997. TIME FOR SOME HELP
In 1997 we expanded to the point that the family could no longer manage the workload alone. We hired our first non-family full time employee in the spring and never looked back! Today we employ 8 full time employees, 4 of which are family members.
1998. ADVANCED STARTS DIGGING
We purchased our first mini backhoe in 1998 to provide our customers with excavation services for their septic systems. This allowed us to unearth septic tanks, drain lines and other portions of septic systems, further strengthening our focus on being a full service company. We still provide this service today!
2000 . TIME FOR TANKS
We installed our first residential septic tank in March, 2000. Today we specialize in both concrete and plastic septic tank installation.
2012 . PIPE BURSTING
To further expand our offerings, we ventured into the very specialized service of pipe bursting in 2012. Our first job was a 120 foot line run under an alleyway for a local business in the borough of New Bloomfield.
2023 . CONTINUOUS GROWTH
Now in our 28th year, we continue to see annual growth and an overwhelmingly positive response to our services. We thank all of our customers for their loyalty, and look forward to meeting the needs of our new customers in the future!
